Soquel, Seaview Estates:

 

Seaview Estates offers two opportunities,

  1. Customize a pre-planned home.
  2. Bring in your own team and design a home entirely to your taste.

 

For Lots 1 through 4, you can claim a parcel by paying a 1% reservation fee, which will give you access to a preselected design and build team. With the help of this team, over the course of the next 30 days you can select the finishes, appliances, fixtures and features that suit your lifestyle. The house will be completed within 1 year, and then you pay the balance of the sales-price.

 

If you already have an architect, designer, and interior decorator in mind, Lots 5 through 9 are listed as land-sale. The list price buys you a fully entitled parcel, including all utility hookups. You will have to pay a nominal water connection fee, a grandfathered “in-lieu” housing fee, and your final plans and permits will need to be submitted and paid. You can then you can get started building according to your personal vision.

Aptos, Aptos Village:

 

The vision Behind the Aptos Village project is to bring the heart of Aptos to life by building 65,000 square feet of commercial space and 69 new homes. The development is carefully planned over 11.5 acres, and will feature neighborhood conveniences such as a local grocery, shops, and new restaurants.  

 

The residential side of this project will produce new two to three bedroom townhomes and condos.

On the Market:

 

Santa Cruz City, Jewel St Townhomes:

 

There is a newly finished development of eleven modern style town homes on Jewel St. You can see a video tour of one of the townhomes here. These are great commute properties as well as minutes to beach, surf and UCSC. At the time of writing, there are five homes left on the market, all two bed, two full path, one half bath, priced at either $754,000 or $734,000, depending on square footage.
